Cocoa Beach, Florida – Haiti Emergency Relief
Imagine loading 28,800 of these in 2 hours…
One 20-foot truck, 2-hour load time, 6 volunteers, 1 large water drill, 28,800 cases of bibles, and 280 buckets. This is what happens when four pastors think up something fun to do.
God moved a mountain of bibles and a water drill for the people of Haiti this month. Another Cross to Light emergency relief container was filled with a water drill to help bring clean drinking water to the people of Haiti and bibles that bring the living water to people thirsty for God’s word.
Pastor Bill Beckelman of Calvary Chapel Coastlands in Eatontown, New Jersey, Rich Hennessey of Horizon Christian Fellowship in Ft Pierce, Florida, and Brian McDaniel collaborated to get the container loaded.
The tight timeline of 2 hours was met to the minute. Every square inch of the container was filled with just enough room to close the doors on the container. Not one square inch was wasted.
Every volunteer was soaking wet from the Florida heat, and happy the job was done!
