We just got back from Haiti — and we can’t wait to tell you what God is doing.
In this short update, Pastor Brian shares a firsthand look at the mission in Haiti: what’s happening on the ground, why it matters, and how you’re already a part of it. The Mission Is Going Amazing — And It’s Because of You
There’s no other way to say it: the mission in Haiti is going amazing. And Pastor Brian is quick to point to the reason.
“It’s because of you,” he says, “and people like you who are praying for us.”
We believe prayer changes things. We’ve watched it happen. Scripture reminds us that “men ought always to pray,” and we hold onto that — not as a nice idea, but as the foundation of everything we do. When churches ask Pastor Brian what they can do to help, his answer is simple and immediate: pray.
Why Prayer Matters More Than Ever
The situation in Haiti’s capital has grown dire. Roughly 90% of Port-au-Prince has been overtaken by gang activity. And yet — the area where our ministry is based remains standing among the small fraction that hasn’t been taken.
We don’t take that lightly. We believe it’s an answer to prayer, and it fills us with gratitude and expectation for what God will continue to do.
The days ahead won’t be easy. The airport has been closed, which means our team has to travel in and out by small aircraft. It’s a reminder of just how much we depend on God’s protection and provision for every trip.
So we ask you to keep praying:
Pray for safe travel as our team goes in and out of Haiti.
Pray for the students at the Haiti Bible Training Center — that they stay strong in the Word and in their calling.
Pray that God pours out His Spirit across Haiti in a fresh and powerful way.
How Prayer Fuels the Work on the Ground
Prayer isn’t separate from the practical work of the ministry — it’s woven right through it.
When a relief container is coming in, we get our partners praying. When emergencies arise, we send out requests so people can lift up specific needs in real time. And when God moves, we don’t keep it to ourselves — we follow up with praise reports so you can celebrate the answered prayers right alongside us.
That’s the rhythm of this ministry: pray, watch God work, give thanks, and keep going.
