The Haiti Bible Training Center (HBTC) has proven that biblical training, when paired with discipleship and compassion, transforms communities. For more than a decade, Cross to Light has equipped young men in Haiti with a deep foundation in the Word of God and sent them back into their communities to plant churches, disciple believers, and care for the most vulnerable.

Now, we’re building the U.S. version of this proven biblical model in Florida. This is not a new idea. It’s being faithful to what God has outlined in the bible.

Through the Haiti Bible Training Center, young men from across Haiti are brought together for two years of intensive biblical training. They are taught the full counsel of Scripture, grounded in discipleship, and prepared for pastoral ministry leadership.

After training, these pastors are sent back into their home provinces to plant churches. Each church functions as a community center where the poor, widows, and orphans receive care and support as the Lord provides. Alongside biblical teaching, Cross to Light facilitates clean water and distributes emergency food at no cost to the Haitian people.

The result is a multiplying network of churches that feed both spiritual and physical needs across the country.

Florida is uniquely positioned as a gateway for ministry training, pastoral development, and global mission preparation. The Florida Bible Training Center is being established to equip U.S.-based pastors and missionaries with the same depth of biblical foundation and discipleship that has borne fruit in Haiti.

This center will serve as a training hub for future church planters, mission leaders, and support partners who will strengthen local communities in the U.S. and support international mission efforts.

This is about raising leaders who are biblically grounded, mission-minded, and prepared to serve wherever God sends them.
