The first official church service was held today by Cross to Light Dumay although services have been held for over a year without a church building under some mango trees.
The people who have been gathering were excited as they saw the new church building go up in two weeks. Their palm branch seating was replaced by missionary custom made benches. Sound equipment, a pulpit and a bulletin were all used during this service inauguration.
Pastor Dovic gave a message about salvation and the story of Cornelius from the book of Acts. Some worship songs were cultural while others got their lyrics from the book of Psalms.
The people received the Word of gladly as they glories God for this new church structure. Now they can come and learn about the bible, worship God and fellowship with welcomed shade and seating.
