…this was the iniquity of your sister Sodom: She and her daughter had pride, fullness of food and abundance of idleness; neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy…
Haiti Bible Training Center; Port au Prince
The church service tonight was unbelievable. We’ve learned so much from the first church plant. We are now taking this new congregation through Ephesians. We give everyone a bible. When you walk through the tent city around the church you see everyone is carrying their bibles. They are so excited. We’ve set two of our students as Pastors in training over this new church and it’s going really well. Next week we’re getting a little blow up pool for baptisms.
One night at church during service a baby (about 2 years old) walked up to Pastor Brian. She just stood there and stared at him. She had a huge smile on her face. After the service, when we were trying to figure out who she belonged to, her Mom came in and got her. After that we visited her and her Mom and found out that the baby was frequently left alone all day. The Lord began to put this baby on Pastor Brian’s heart. After returning from the States he went out to find her and see how she was doing. When he got into the tent city where she lives everyone was saying, “Jessica, Jessica, Jessica” to him. They had taken Jessica away to another tent city. We went to find her. She had been through the ringer. She was covered in measles, had not bathed in a long time and had no food. We wrapped her in gauze and got her treated. We were able to get her enrolled in a Pre-School that makes sure she is fed and clothed and she is now fed, clean and happy.
Health for Haiti
The medical outreaches have been going amazing. It is such an incredible opportunity to minister to people and share our Jesus with them. We are drawing up building plans for the church plants that will include a portion of the facility for medical outreaches.
Projects for Haiti
We have several projects moving forward for Haiti. They include Bibles, Containers, Water and Health for Haiti. Read more >
Ezekiel 26 tells us what happens to nations that are happy for Israel’s calamity. It says, “the word of the Lord came to me, saying, “Son of man, because Tyre has said against Jerusalem, ‘Aha! She is broken who was the gateway of the peoples; now she is turned over to me; I shall be filled; she is laid waste.’ “Therefore thus says the Lord God: ‘Behold, I am against you, O Tyre, and will cause many nations to come up against you, as the sea causes its waves to come up…” Remain under God’s protection and support Israel!
