According to a UNICEF report released in January 2012, "Still today more than one million people remain displaced, living in crowded camps where livelihoods, shelter and services are still hardly sufficient for children to stay healthy".
Cross to Light’s focus is to raise up young leaders from different provinces in Haiti, take them through the bible over the course of a year and send them back out to help establish churches in the provinces of Haiti in order to provide bible teaching and discipleship. This is providing a spiritual blessing for Haiti. We are also using these church facilities to provide assistance to the poor, homeless, widows and orphans of Haiti. At the church facilities, in addtion to the bible teaching and discipleship we will dig deep clean water wells, provide medical supplies and medical assistance and relief aid – all free of cost to the Haitian people.

2. Mail in your donation to the American Bible Society along with this letter requesting the funds be appropriated to the Cross to Light account for us to pick up in Port au Prince, Haiti. We have $7.50 full vinyl cover bibles available for pick-up.

As there are still 1 million people displaced, living in tents in Port au Prince, Haiti we would like to provide them each a bible. Our five church plants are placed right in the middle of some of the worst distruction - where the people most in need live. As such, we have a unique capability of ministering to them on a personal level. As people come to the Lord, we give them a bible. We have weekly studies where we are taking people through the bible - most of them learning the bible for the first time. We have weekly outreaches where many more people are coming to the Lord. Our latest container project includes building plans drawn for the church plants that include materials needed; cut wood, hardware, tools, accessories required in order to load a container with the construction materials, ship it to Port au Prince, Haiti for unload and assembly. In addition, this second container will include our water drill that will be used to dig deep, clean water wells for each of the church plants in order to help provide clean water for the community.

The new church facilities plan to include a medical clinic outreach attached to the church structures. We conduct medical clinic outreaches now. We are in need of medical volunteers and medical supplies.
