49,000 pounds of food has just been successfully delivered to Haiti! Thank you for your prayers and support that have made this possible. For the past year Haiti has been under extreme duress due to political and economic hardship. As a result food and fuel have been scarce and expensive. Most people living in Haiti have found is very hard to get to work and to get food. Cross to Light has been enabled through our supporters to deliver another relief container full of food. The Haitian government has continued to give Cross to Light favor and has continued our good standing NGO status that allows us to bring this relief into the port.

Our distribution network is unlike any in Haiti. It consists of 10 bible teaching churches that are located throughout the various provinces of Haiti. Each church is involved in their community, has a leadership team and is able to distribute relief aid effectively to those most in need.

After our relief aid containers arrive at the port, the emergency supplies are then brought to the Training Center and then distributed to the churches. At times, this food supply is the only relief people have received in a very long time.

The bible promises a special, conditional blessing to those that help the poor:

Psalm 41

Blessed is he who considers the poor;
The Lord will deliver him in time of trouble.
The Lord will preserve him and keep him alive,
And he will be blessed on the earth;
You will not deliver him to the will of his enemies.
The Lord will strengthen him on his bed of illness;
You will sustain him on his sickbed.
