This is pastor Brian from the Haiti Bible Training Center bringing you the Haiti praise report 2021. I want to say God bless you! Thank you so much for every prayer you’ve offered up for us over the last year.
It’s been a challenging year in Haiti, as many of you might know. The whole nation of Haiti has been out of gas for about ten weeks. Rioting, kidnapping, all kinds of crazy stuff, but the bible says, “I’ll crown the year with your goodness, and your path will drip with abundance.”
When the enemy is coming in like a flood, God says the Spirit of God will raise up a standard. So by the grace of God, we decided we’re going to focus on building churches. Why? Because Jesus said, “upon this rock, I’ll build my church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.”
We’re so excited! We’re in the process of building and completing four churches.
One of our students, Patrick graduated from the Haiti Bible Training Center about two years ago. He went to a tough area to plant a church. He’s had a church without a building. By the grace of God, last month, we had a construction team fly in to finish building a church for Patrick.
You know God says, “My house shall be called a house of prayer.” It’s so amazing that we were able to complete that.
We’re building another church. It’s located across the street from the biggest tent city in Haiti. Five thousand people are living in tents. This church will be where these people can come and be discipled and grow in the grace and the knowledge of the Lord Jesus. We’re so excited!
We have another student that left two to three years ago. He started a bible study, a church. We just purchased a property for him, and we’re getting ready to break ground on another church build. Please continue to pray for us.
God has been so amazing in giving us so much favor. The bible says the boy Samuel grew in favor with God and man, and God is giving us favor.
Another thing we’re excited about is our first student Leo up in the North. We’ve just purchased a property for him to build a great church and another Haiti Bible Training Center in the North. A school of ministry where people can come and be discipled. We can start planting churches in the North. So many good things are going on.
We want to continue to thank you for holding our hands up in the battle. As you pray, we advance. You know, God said for every place the sole of your foot treads upon I have given to you. God has called us to take ground, and that’s what we’re doing. We’re advancing the kingdom through making disciples and planting churches.
The Haiti Bible Training Center is going so great. We just had five students graduate that was there for three years. They left a couple of months ago to plant more churches. We want to thank you. We want to encourage you. Continue to seek the Lord while He may be found. Call upon Him while He is near. We pray that the Lord blesses you and your families.
