On the way to the airport we stopped at one of the street vendors to pick up some Haitian fast food: fresh coconuts! The merchant cuts a hole at the top so you can drink the fresh coconut juice and then cuts it open so you can scoop out the soft middle. The hard white part is also good to chew on. We bought a round for us and one for a Mom and son was walking by.
