Hurricane Matthew – Emergency Response

Mission teams, volunteers and donors came together and responded to the call for help after Category 4 Hurricane Matthew tore into the south western thumb of the island of Haiti on the early morning of October 4, 2016. Cross to Light delivered to people in need; innumerable bags of rice, clothing, 2 water tank installations for two communities, prayer and the gospel. We are thankful for the unbelievable privilege of delivering tangible help along with eternal help. We know the rice will run out, the clothes will tear, the water will be absorbed but the message of the cross will never fade or fail. Our prayers for the people of Haiti – individuals who had their homes destroyed, their roofs torn off and in some cases family members lost – is that they receive the eternal hope that will deliver lasting salvation.
