Praise Report – Port au Prince, Haiti News
The Lord has brought a turning point for the people of Haiti. For so many months, the gangs have taken over the country. They terrorized the people. They had blocked imports, including food and fuel. They had blocked the roads. They would collect the money earned by the street merchants at the end of the day like the mafia. They would kill and rape whoever they wanted. The police were outnumbered. We prayed.
Finally, the people rose up. They banned together and set out to remove the gangs. When this happened, the police could do their jobs with the help of the people. Previously, they had been outnumbered and without enough supplies.
So many gang members are gone now. Many are cutting their hair to be no longer identified as gang members. Some have given their life to Jesus Christ.
Now, supplies are returning to the stores. Food and fuel are accessible once again. The roads are not blocked. People are not terrorized anymore. Once again, the people are open and receiving the good news of Jesus Christ. They are humbled and thankful.
Pastor Brian and his friend Nick Rocco took out the Mobile Evangelism Unit last week. This is a box truck equipped with an audio sound system. The gospel message was shared, and 4,900 gospel of Johns and the book of Romans were hand-delivered to everyone from the highways and byways that wanted to receive.
Suddenly, a car with tinted windows skidded in front of the truck. A guy got out and said, “hello pastor Brian”. Brian recognized the man. He is a well-known gang leader. Brian told him, “We’ve been praying for you! All you have to do is repent, turn and receive Christ, call on the name of the Lord and He will forgive you, and you’ll be saved.” The man thoughtfully nodded in agreement. He reached up and took the book of John from Brian, thanked him, and left.
Praise God; He has chased the gangs out of the area. People are humble. Gas, food, supplies, and the gospel are open right now.
Deuteronomy 28
“Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God:“Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country.
“Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, the produce of your ground and the increase of your herds, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks.
“Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl.
“Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out.
“The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.
