Saved by grace meaning explained.

You’re saved by grace through faith, not by works.

If I steal your headset…Let’s say you go to the authorities and say I got my video. I know this guy stole it.

I got a court date. I will go before the judge, and he will say you stole the headset. There’s a punishment.

Now, let’s say I do this. Let’s say I feel so bad about stealing your headset that I go home, and for two years, I have done amazing work. I go to hospitals. I clean the streets. I help people across the street. I do amazing work.

In two years, when I return to Israel, they find me and bring me to the judge. When they bring me to the judge, he will say, “You stole Benny’s headset. I can’t say I realize your honor, but let me show you all the amazing things I did. He’s going to say I don’t care about that. You’re going to jail for stealing the headset.

The wages of sin; one sin is enough to send somebody to hell, but it’s the free gift of God, of eternal life in Christ Jesus that gets you into heaven.

The whole issue about being able to go to God is your sin. The Bible says He’s an unapproachable Light. In Timothy, it says we’re all sinful. The only way to get rid of your sin there’s One Way. Jesus said I’m the way the truth, and the life. No man, no Jew, Buddhist, Hindu, no man, comes to the Father except through Him.

The reason He’s the only narrow way is because He is the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. He’s removed your sin as far as the East is to the West. Once your sin is gone, then you’re reconciled to God, but if the sin’s not gone, you’re not coming into the holy of holies. It doesn’t matter all the work you do. It doesn’t matter what you believe. You can kiss the Pope’s ring. You can do whatever you want, but it won’t forgive your sin. It’s only the blood of Jesus Christ amen.
