Onaville, Haiti

Pastor Fednel Rousseau

Emergency prayer and surgery are needed urgently for Pastor Fednel’s four-year-old son, Fed-Brian Rousseau. He was born with the inability to process waste. He has a tube and bag outside of his body to collect and eliminate it. He is in urgent need of emergency surgery to correct this.

Last year, we sent out the same request for him. He was scheduled for surgery only to be told his iron count was too low. He has been on a blood improvement routine to get strong enough for the past year. Finally, the doctors are willing to revisit the much-needed surgery.

The supplies and cost of surgery must be paid before being scheduled.

Pastor Fednel has led the church in Onaville since 2014. He’s married and has a son and daughter.

Church Project Complete: Water Cistern

Water for Onaville, Haiti

The Water for Haiti cistern project was completed January 2021 for Onaville. Pastor Fednel teaches through the bible there and is also able to help provide water free of charge to the community. This cistern is located on the side of the church and has been built to accommodate the community. Water trucks deliver water to fill it up. Our water team has attempted to drill a well there multiple times with no success. The cistern was the alternative solution for this dry area of Haiti.

Water Source Before the Cistern

Fednel Rousseau completed the bible survey program at the Haiti Bible Training Center in 2014. After completion he served as an assistant pastor in Canaan, Haiti for a year. He is currently the pastor of a church in Onaville and is married. There are approximately 350 adults and children that attend the weekly church services with a total of 20,000 people in the surrounding community.

Water for Haiti Delivered Cross to Light delivers trucks of water for Haiti to Onaville. Four previous attempts at drilling for water came up dry. Other organizations have attempted the same with no success. This area is especially dry and barren. Situated just north east of Port au Prince, Haiti's capitol it has little underground aquifers to tap into. Water for the Community As a response to the extreme difficulty to getting water to the community, supporters of Cross [...]
