Magdala was the home town of Mary Magdeline, the lady whom Jesus cast seven demons out of. From that moment on she was found frequently at the feet of Jesus. She became one of His financial supporters, was at the foot of the cross when He was crucified and was the first to see Him after the resurrection in the garden.
Mary Magdeline was extremely grateful that Jesus had saved her. She did not want to let Him out of her sight. What an example to us on how we should remember what we have been forgiven of and not let the King of Kings out of our site!
