[symple_highlight color=”green”] 2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord. [/symple_highlight]
A big “yee-haa!” goes out to the amazing Texas team from Calvary Chapel Paris who hosted our fifth container and to Calvary Chapel Plano, Calvary Chapel Frisco and Calvary Chapel Flower Mound who all came together to pack it out and send it merrily on it’s way floating across the Sea to Port au Prince, Haiti.
After much ado it has arrived on the Missionary Training Center campus and will become the campus kitchen. It was originally intended to become the Medical Clinic but the road parameters are changing due to new road improvements and the space for the medical clinic might need to shift into a hand built building in place of a container. All of this is to say, “Our God Reigns!” He has done it – the container – thanks to the body of Christ – has successfully found it’s new home and purpose.
Isn’t it amazing how God can take a piece of metal and turn it into something that will feed mission teams, orphans, the broken hearted, the poor and needy, Pastors in training, staff and students alike? Much like He takes us and turns us into something that contains His glory – instead of worthless things – in order to fill us up overflowing with His love to help us reach out to others in need of a Savior.
