Matthew 28:18-20
And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

From Pastor Brian
There is a family of 5; a widow and four little kids that the Lord has had on my heart for a long time. They are our neighbors. The Mom is gone for most of the day going out to find enough work to pay for rice for the day. The kids are ages two to eight and fend for themselves all day alone.
One day I went by this family to check on them and see how they are doing. They had wrist bands on their hands. An NGO had come by and tagged them. The next day they were taken to a remote village and given a hut. Their tent was torn down. This may seem like a good thing but in the tent cities the people are very close and work together. If one family is out of food another will share what they have. Everyone helps each other out. That is how they are surviving.
When this woman and her children were displaced they were brought into a new environment that provided no means for survival. No way to obtain food or water. They found a way back to their broken down tent. It took them 4 hours of travelling. I put them in one of the Training Center rooms temporarily and then found them a small place to live. The rent is $350 for one year. Cross to Light paid the rent for them for the year and they have moved in. They are so happy and grateful. We also give them a food allowance to help sustain them.
The little girls are so on fire for the Lord and so thankful. While they were at the training center there was a tropical storm. I went to go check on them. All of them were on one bunk bed, sitting up praising and worshiping the Lord. The next day one of the little girls kept raising up her bottle of water to me, so thankful because she had never had a clean glass of water before.
Praise God that He has provided for this family and cares about them.

New Church Plant
A big “Thank you” to Anthony, Robert, Brandon and others who came out and helped build up a wall on the new church building. They kept their building tools in one hand and the Word of God in the other, building and praising together. The new church is a huge blessing. Many people are coming to the Lord and being built up.

40′ Container
2 months from vision to launch. It’s truly amazing. The Lord put it on Kevin Springer’s heart, an engineer that lives in Southern California, to load up a container of supplies for Haiti. In just 2 months the Lord orchestrated the entire project. We obtained a 40 foot container. Jimmy from Mariners jumped in to help. Jim Utterback offered to provide warehouse space for the supplies. Volunteers came in to palletize and prepare. Many companies and people donated their time and resources. The supplies poured in. The final load day came and a strong team of eight packed in the supplies. It’s departing Long Beach this week and is expected to arrive in Port au Prince, Haiti mid-October. For He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we could think or ask.

Toyota Truck
We have found a truck for the Training Center. The vehicle we have, an Isuzu Trooper has been ok but is not off-road worthy and has been very expensive to maintain as the “roads ” in Port au Prince are a daily off-road excursion. This has been one of our largest expenses and we are also in need of larger capacity for the airport pick-ups and drop-offs of teams. We were provided with another truck and are now in the process of shipping it.
