Children’s Ministry

When mission teams come out to the Haiti Bible Training Center they have an opportunity to minister to children in several ways;

    1. Vacation Bible School (VBS); Teams can put together and conduct a VBS during the week they are in Haiti.

      Amphitheater Church

      We have the Amphitheater church situated right in front of the BTC. Teams can start their day with a team morning devotion and prayer time and then head out to the Amphitheater to conduct the VBS.  We will provide an interpreter for this special time with the children.  If you send us the VBS text that you will be using we can translate this so that you can incorporate it in materials you might want to bring in such as daily hand-outs and posters.  We can have our cook prepare a meal (usually beans and rice) for after the VBS so the children can be fed before they leave. 2. Children’s Feeding Program; We provide weekly Children Feeding Programs.  One occurrence is when a team comes in to conduct a VBS.  This provides an ideal way to feed the children Spiritually and physically.  In addition, teams can bring in healthy items to supplement the children such as gummy vitamins and protein bars.  When planning for supplies to bring in for the children, keep in mind they normally eat just beans and rice and so they are in need of vitamins and minerals.
    3. The Missionary Training Center campus that is under development will contain an orphanage.  This will house children that will be trained up in the Word of God. Mission teams will be able to come in and pour into these children.
