Haiti Water Crisis solution

He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water. John 7:38

The Living Water for Haiti

There is a water crisis in Haiti due to gang control. For example, the people who live in Grand Goave have had to walk for one hour to get a bucket of drinking water. The roads and supplies are cut off.

Pastor George keeps his priorities straight. He brings the people in his community to the well of “Living Water” every week by teaching them through the bible. In addition, Pastor George and his church decided to work on a solution. They have dug a well by hand. Similar to how Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob dug wells, a new well was dug. They have a guy who starts digging straight down. As he digs, he raises the bucket of dirt to a guy at the top to dump it. He continues digging down until he hits the water. This is how a well was dug in the past, as recorded in the Old Testament, and is dug today in places like Haiti, where they have no other water source.
