Our Amazing Father
“So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish? Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!” Luke 11

Bringing water to the people that don’t have it in Haiti is one of our primary objectives. The Lord did a total miracle at the Missionary Training Center campus which is under development. We had the water team out to drill our second well. They had two weeks to complete the task which is a very tight turn around. All of the neighbors around the campus have brackish water; water with enough nitrate salts in it to render it undrinkable unless it is filtered. We kept praying and asking God for help with the well, to hit clean water. The first attempt was unfruitful. The drill location was moved. After working fervently toward the end of the two weeks and the end of the drill length capacity the drilling was stopped to see what kind of water was accessed. With bated breath everyone was praying hard for water. It was confirmed; the well had hit an aquifer. It wasn’t until after the mud was cleared that the the second miracle was discovered; the water was nitrate free – clean drinking water. This is very difficult to obtain on an island. The well has to hit a special kind of aquifer that acts like a natural cistern that collects rain water. Otherwise, all of the well water that is on an island will have some level of nitrate salts and be brackish. The fact that the Lord provided this natural, clean rain water well is a HUGE miracle – thank you Lord!
Being that it’s Father’s Day, let us think of how our heavenly Father loves us and provides for us. We may not always get what we want, but He gives us what we need. His desire is to see us succeed and to have fruit abounding to our eternal account. He desires to hear from us, to see us come to Him for help, direction, counsel and wisdom from above. Our Abba Father, Daddy, loves us and wants to lavish us with precious treasures. He says, “Call unto Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things that you do not know.” Call on your Dad today, He can’t wait to hear from you and He desires to give an answer that is just right for you!
