The Bible clarifies the truth about dividing the land of Israel in Genesis 12:1.
Now the Lord had said to Abram, Get out of your country, from your family and from your father’s house, to a land that I will show you, and I will make you a great nation, and I will bless you, and I will make your name great. And you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you. And I will curse him who curses you. And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed. And the Lord appeared to Abraham, and said to your descendants, I will give this land. Isn’t that amazing? Abraham is the father of the Jewish nation. Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. God says to you and to your descendants, I give you this land.
Don’t be deceived. There are many false teachers. I see them on the internet. Totally deceived. Israel is the only piece of land on earth that God gave to a specific person. He gave it to Abraham.
You never want to be on the wrong side of history, which says the land doesn’t belong to them. And Abraham really isn’t the father of the Jews. That’s a false teaching. That’s not what the Bible teaches. You don’t want to be on the wrong side of history, because in Joel chapter three, he said God’s going to gather all nations down to the valley of Jehoshaphat. That’s the valley between the Mount of Olives and the Temple Mount. And he’s going to enter into judgment with them there on behalf of his children, Israel, who they scattered among the nations and divided up my land.
You never want to be part of anyone or any conversation that has to do with dividing up that land, because God gave it to Abraham and his descendant in an everlasting covenant.
Here at the Haiti Bible Training Center, where we train pastors and young leaders in Haiti, we teach them to love Israel. Why do we love Israel? Because Israel is the apple of God’s eye. That was his firstborn in Egypt. He said, Because you did this to my firstborn. I’m going to do it to your firstborn, right? So many people get confused.
The Bible says that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles. So what he did is he’s using the Gentiles to provoke the Jews to jealousy, but he’s not finished with them, because the last seven weeks of history are called the time of Jacob’s trouble. Revelation 12 says that the woman Israel will flee to the wilderness, where God feeds her and protects her for 1265 days, and all of Israel will be saved.
We teach here at the Bible Training Center to support Israel, to love Israel, to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, as you see here on the wall—a beautiful Israeli flag with the Star of David in the middle. Let’s walk right up to the roof and take a look at the flag that we fly above our compound here in the nation of Haiti, in the capital, Port-au-Prince. You’re going to see it here, right on the roof. We’re going to see what we have. There it is.
Lord, we thank you for the nation of Israel. We pray, Father, for the Jewish people. They are a blessing to all the nations. We know that most Nobel Peace Prizes have been awarded to Jewish individuals. They’re amazing. They’re smart. And, Lord, you love them. And you gave them that land. We love you in the name of Yeshua.
