Please pray for the people of Haiti. Tropical storm Sandy ripped through causing massive flooding and 44 deaths and counting to date. Many tent homes have been destroyed.

Haiti Bible Training Center
Cross to Light has established the Haiti Bible Training Center in Port au Prince, Haiti. Students are discipled through the bible over the course of one year. Haiti Evangelism through a Soccer Outreach

Cross to Light held a soccer outreach in the tent city very close to one of the churches. We had a gospel soccer marathon. We played worship music, preached the gospel, played a game, preached the gospel, played another game, preached the gospel and invited the crowd to bring friends to church to hear the good news again!

The gospel message had a great response – many were saved. We gave out food and some gifts to the people, and then it rained! Praise the LORD!

Do you know for sure you're going to heaven?
The Bible tells us that there is none righteous. The Bible tells us that there is not a just person on the earth. That there is no one that does good and does not sin. All of us have sinned and fallen short of God's glory. God's standard for righteousness is found in the Book of Exodus, in the Ten Commandments. If you look at God's standards and are honest with yourself you will see that you fall short too. The Bible tells us that we should not lie. Have you ever not told the truth at least one time? If so, you are guilty in God's eyes. The Bible tells us that our sin separates us from God. The Bible tells us that when the first humans, Adam and Eve sinned, their spirit died uand their relationship with God was broken. Jesus said, "you who were dead in your trespasses and sins, He made alive together with Him". Jesus said, "unless a man be born again he cannot even see the kingdom of God". Jesus Christ, Who is God manifested in the flesh, died on the Cross and shed His blood. He was buried, and then rose from the grave. Jesus provided a way for us to come boldly to the throne of grace.

The wages of sin is death but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our LORD. God demonstrates His love towards us that while we were sinners Christ died for us. The Bible tells that if you believe in your heart the Lord Jesus and confess with your mouth that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Repent and believe on the LORD Jesus Christ and you will be saved. God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son that whosoever will believe on Him will not perish but have everlasting life. Whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. Salvation is a free gift, all you need to do is receive it. To as many as receive Him, He gave the power to become children of God. Call on the Name of the Lord and you will be saved!
